THE AKIMBO IS CE CERTIFIED Other mechanical devices have tried but nothing comes close to the Rock Exotica Akimbo. Mid-line attachable, compact, lightweight and tunable, the Akimbo is likely to change climber perceptions regarding mechanical devices. The Akimbo allows the climber to ascend and descend without changing equipment but it does require some setting up for optimal performance, (that's the advantage of adjustability). Designed primarily for SRT but can also be used for DbRT. Please note the use of Rock Exotica Approved Ropes for this device, slippage may occur if non-approved ropes are used.
