The Petzl ZigZag (Version IV) is a mechanical prussic almost identical in use to the traditional pulley-based friction hitch. The new generation Petzl ZigZag comes complete with a larger integrated sealed bearing pulley for slack tending and triple connection points offering multiple configuration options. Durable stainless steel friction links for extended life. Press down on the spring mounted release lever for a super smooth descent and fluid movement throughout the tree canopy. Suitable for doubled or a single rope climbing (when combined with the Chicane). The lower attachment hole is fixed to ensure alignment of the Petzl ZigZag with the axis of the climber and to optimize grip. Specified for semi-static EN 1891A climbing lines, 11.5 - 13mm in diameter.
