Ever tried to cut Dyneema? It is nearly impossible with regular scissors. These 'Pro' scissors are made for Liros by Rubuso, Solingen, Germany, specifically designed for cutting Spectra, Vectran, Dyneema and Aramid. These fibres are very 'slippery, making them one of the hardest materials to cut, especially when accurately is required (eg tapering for a splice). The Liros blades are laser cut and then hot-forged, using high-purity specialty steel to produce a unique micro serrated cutting edge. As used by Anna at Shift2.
