The DMM Ultra D carabiner offers exceptional strength and functionality, making it an ideal choice for various working-at-height applications. It shares a similar size with the DMM Ultra O but possesses even greater strength due to its unique back configuration. The pronounced D-shape directs the loading along the carabiner's major axis, maximizing its strength and reliability. In addition, its D-shaped body design ensures that loads are closer to the connector's spine, maximizing overall strength. Finally, a keylock clean nose enables a snag-free connection for ropes, slings, and devices. Additionally, DMM's patented Taperlock closing mechanism enhances gate push-in and cross-gate strength while allowing for secure attachment with minimal risk of snags.
