VTIO (Victorian Tree Industry Organization) have launched a draft PPE and climbing gear inspection record for use in the tree climbing industry. The record is available via download as an Excel spreadsheet and it can be filled in electronically or printed out and filled in by hand.
The spreadsheet was designed by tree climbers to make it simple and quick to record the results of regular climbing gear inspections.

The Petzl system is tailored more to their brand of equipment and is not specific to the tree industry.It's not bad never-the-less.
