Abberley Park, St Albans is the venue for the 2012 NZ Arbor Husqvarna South Island Regional Tree Climbing Competition (boy what a mouthful) scheduled for Saturday 1 September. Gear check 7:30am, competition gets underway 8:30am.
The southern round of the Husqvarna sponsored TCC is the first of three regional tree climbing comps held during the month of September. Regional winners qualify to compete in the Nationals (October in Wellington).
Auckland is the only region with qualifiers for the 2012 Nationals at this point. The Waikato/BoP Regional TCC is scheduled for Saturday 22 September and the Wellington Regional TCC on Saturday 29 at Kowhai park in Whanganui.
