The NTCA (Northland Tree Climbers Association) Agathis Fund, led by Troy Alderton and Joe Cooper, is starting to take shape. The Agathis Fund is a financial support mechanism for tree climbers in need and is administered by the NTCA .
Production of the Agathis Fund chainsaw lanyards is almost underway - the initial production run will be sponsored by Treetools. Each lanyard is clearly labeled "Agathis Fund" and the distinctive purple color of the lanyard webbing will further indicate contribution to the fund.The NTCA Agathis Fund lanyards should be available from arborist supply stores by mid-October.
