DB Tree sets the bar high for retreivable redirects

DB Tree sets the bar high for retreivable redirects

Just when you thought DB Tree had disappeared off the NZ tree climbing scene Drew Bristow returns with a fancy new YouTube clip showing off a retrievable redirect. This inline redirect has been in the pipeline for some time and it has been thoroughly tested in the field - and it definitely works.

Built around a 'retired' Trango Cinch (the plastic lever handle on the Cinch is dysfunctional but it not required in this configuration) backed up by a Wild Country Ropeman , Drew has managed to produce a simple redirect which retrieves time-after-time with very little effort. It's not the cheapest option in town but worth every penny.

The video has no commentary but the pictures speak for themselves (apart from some serious cropping). Enjoy!

Thanks to Thomas Goehring for the in-tree photography
