Weather looks stable for Southern Arbor Day Arborcamp

Richard Tregoweth - Thursday, June 02, 2011

Pack three layers of clothing if you plan attending the 2011 Southern 'Arbor Day' Arborcamp at the Uxbridge Reserve in North Otago, June 2-5.

According to the NZ Met Service the weather will be mainly fine with a low of 3°C.

Directional signage, a marquee and port-a-loos will be erected on site by campmaister Jerry Lynch and his Otago Polytech students - so you won't get lost!

The road tripping Auckland contingent including Drew Bristow, Dom Eastwood and Guy Clark are heading south later today and should arrive at Uxbridge Reservelate Friday evening - have that fire stoked up Jerry. All you southerners should easily make it well before us.
