National TCC Coordinator Marlies Laser has confirmed Steele Park in Hamilton East as the venue for the Waikato TCC Workshop scheduled for Saturday 28 August. The TCC workshop is designed for all climbers (new or old) interested in the Waikato/BoP Regional TCC event on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Hamilton Lake Domain.
The workshop offers a great opportunity for climbers to clarify rule changes, review what has to be done at each of the five stations, how to read the score sheet and to have a final check of climbing gear - better to get everything sorted before the main event!The workshop is free but you will still need to register. It is presented as a joint effort between the NZAA and Pro Climb although the original concept should be attributed to Auckland climbers Drew Bristow and Johno Smith.
