Kiwi's one, two and almost three at the 2011 Asia-Pacific TCC

Richard Tregoweth - Sunday, June 19, 2011

The kiwi men's team almost completed the 'hat trick' in the Masters event at the 2011 Asia-Pacific Regional TCC in Singapore today!

Current Asia-Pacific Regional champion James Kilpatrick placed number one with Scott Forrest number two and Ross Kite number four (beaten into third place by a meager .67 points by aussie Henk Morgans). Richard Kenyon (Australia) placed fifth.

Kiah Martin (Australia) has taken the womens 2011 Asia-Pacific crown with Nicky Ward-Allen in second place.

These results are 'unofficial' but it appears New Zealand now has three seasoned climbers in the International Tree Climbing Championships in Sydney nextmonth: Scott Forrest and Chrissy Spence representing New Zealand and returning champ James Kilpatrick representing the Asia-Pacifc region.
