If you want to see how fast the men's secured footlock event can be completed check out this YouTube clip of Michael Hili, the Victorian Tree Climbing Champ from Australia - 14.13 seconds. The men's secured footlock distance is 15 meters (49 feet, 2.5 inches). The finishing bell is secured 15 inches away from the climbers line.

Nicky Ward-Allen's "unofficial" footlock time is 14.79 seconds but the women's event distance is 12 meters (39 feet,3.5 inches).
