For best results, semi-static ropes should be soaked in water and allowed to dry slowly, accommodating approximately 5% natural shrinkage, which should be factored in when ordering lengths. Featuring outstanding abrasion resistance and a supple yet robust construction, this rope is easy to handle and offers low-impact force that can sustain many falls. Fixe Espeleo Semi Static 10mm has a sheath proportion of 37.5%, a static elongation of 2.7%, and an impact force of 4.47 kN with no sheath slippage. Treated naturally and weighing 65 grams per meter, the Fixe Espeleo rope complies with EN1891-A standards.
