The At Height DW2 Drill Winch is a compact device for lifting and lowering. It handles both people and materials in work-at-height, rescue, rigging, and load-handling. The winch is certified by a Notified Body to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC Annex 4. It meets all Essential Health and Safety Requirements of Annex 1. The unit weighs just 2 kg, combining portability with strong performance. It features an 8:1 gear ratio and a becket with a minimum breaking strength of 12 kN. The DW2 works with EN1891A or EN564 ropes from 8 mm to 11 mm. It supports loads from 50 kg (8 mm rope) up to 200 kg (11 mm rope). The winch uses precision-engineered components. Controlled lifting is performed with a high-torque drill (≥100 Nm, non-impact). Smooth lowering is managed with the manual lever. Each unit is individually serial numbered for traceability. Packaging includes a durable hard case and spare hex keys. For best results, use a brushless drill with over 100 Nm of torque and a 5.0 Ah or higher battery.
