The Nikon Forestry Pro II laser rangefinder/hypsometer sets a new standard in arboriculture, forestry, utility, and industrial applications with its enhanced ranging capability, improved accuracy, and faster response time, building on the legacy of the Nikon Forestry Pro. This advanced device features a log function that stores up to 250 measurement results and provides versatile functionality, including measurements of actual and horizontal distances, height, angle, and vertical separation between two targets (2-point mode), and height calculations between two points (3-point mode). The Target Priority system excels in detecting small or thin targets like distant power lines and branches. For forestry and arboriculture work, the two-point measurement function allows accurate tree height measurement when the top and base are visible, while the three-point mode calculates height when these points are not directly visible. The Nikon Forestry Pro II is ideal for arborists, power distribution contractors, maintenance crews, and construction professionals. It offers compact ergonomics, ease of use, and high value, making it a crucial tool for field data collection, project planning, and execution.
