The Petzl Tandem is a double-pulley, originally designed for the Tyrolean traverse in mountain climbing and canyoning applications and has been adopted by tree climbing arborists for use on speed lines (also known as 'zip' lines with a maximum speed 10 m/s). The pulley sheaves are mounted on self-lubricating bushings for amazing efficiency and the attachment hole can accommodate up to three carabiners making the Tandem ideal for rigging applications.
