Commonly used in SRT for ascending and back-up, the Petzl Ascension features a wide ergonomic design with an insulated elastomeric grip to protect from the cold. The precisely engineered shape keeps the Petzl Ascension parallel to the direction of the pull. Double holes on top of the cam to insert a carabiner as a double-back-up to ensure the cam can not accidentally open on the rope. Certified: CE EN 567, NFPA 1983 L, EN 12841 type B. Individually tested.
