The ISC Ultrasafe two-holed hand ascender is unique in that it is milled from a solid 7075 aluminium extrusion. This is the most durable hand ascender on the market - period! The rope channel will not deform or flex under load, reducing the chance of the rope 'flipping' out.
The stainless steel cam will withstand the harshest conditions and the face has cones, rather than spikes to reduce rope wear, yet it still provides amazing load capacity. The ISC hand ascender has a captive eye pin to prevent the cam from moving back beyond the face of the rope channel - its impossible for the rope to come free of the channel.
Tested on 12.7mm Superline - the rope failed at 11kN when the sheath released but the hand ascender was still operable - this is simply the best hand ascender on the market.
