The DMM Phantom HMS Locksafe, with I-Beam construction for improved strength to weight ratio, is an extremely compact, lightweight carabiner. The acronym HMS stands for “Halbmastwurf sicherung” which loosely translates from German as “Munter hitch belay carabiner.” The extra-short gate means the Phantom HMS can take two clove hitches with ease. New for 2019.
