The ART RopeGuide 2010 sets the standard for 'frictionless' rope guides or friction savers - ideally paired with the ART Lockjack, ART Spiderjack 2.1 and the ART Spiderjack 3. The integrated ART Cocoon pulley diverts 99% of climbing energy in ascent and runs also frictionless on the descent. The cam-activated device offers smoother adjustment and ensures excellent grip in every situation, quickly released for re-positioning after a heavy load. The 8 mm sewn parallel line combines the advantages of rope and loop: good abrasion resistance, a full contact surface for the cam and higher tensile strength due to the large Tunnel Ring. The milled aluminium block encases all mechanical parts providing extreme durability. The ART RopeGuide 2010 incorporates the patented, impact-activated (at 4 kN) rip-stop ZIP ABSORBER lanyard designed to minimise high shock force in the event of a fall. Easy to adjust - and retrieve. Made in Germany.
