Teufelberger Ocean Polyester is a heat resistant friction cord composed of a Polyester/Aramid outer sheath and a Polyester core. This is the second generation of Ocean Polyester stitched together in a continuous loop for friction hitches or many other applications in tree work. The 700mm length is the standard length for traditional body thrusting DbRT set-ups. Tested to EN 795B and EN 566. The stitched connection is quality assured for higher strength and less bulk than a knot. If the double fisherman's knot on your friction prussic configuration has seen its day, look to replacing it with the Ocean Polyester LOOP. This is one tough piece of friction cord.
