This rope grab features a removable bolted cam (using a 3/32-inch HEX wrench) that houses an internal spring (replaceable). Before use and installation on your lanyard, it's essential to secure the Ny-lock nut firmly using an ½ inch socket or ring spanner. Designed primarily as a length adjuster for wire core or rope lanyards, the Stein Rope Grab is an integral part of a work positioning system when correctly assembled. It ensures secure work positioning or restraint, either as part of an approved climbing system or as a standalone device. The Stein Mechanical Rope Grab Adjuster holds EN358:2018 certification when used on 12-13mm diameter ropes, confirming its compliance with industry safety standards for Work Positioning Systems.
