Check out this story. The tree pictured, found in Tasmania is probably about 2-3000 years old but the organism itself has been living there continuously for at least 10,000 years!

The rumors are true! New Zealand will host an 'official' world footlock attempt at the Asia-Pacific TCCscheduled for Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Western Park, Freeman's Bay Auckland.
