The weighted Thorace 1616 dead blow wedge hammer has a die-cast head and an aluminium alloy handle with a shock absorbent rubber grip. The partially filled with steel shot hollow head adds to the weight and prevents rebound. The Thorace delivers 'dead' blows of maximum impact - an ideal hammer for wedges for sustained force and effective blows without recoil. Fitted with extra-tough, threaded nylon striking faces. Made in England. Replacement faces available.
