Okatsune No.205 Hedge Shears combine long handles with precision-ground blades for controlled hedge trimming and pruning. The 175 mm blades are forged from premium IZUMO YASUGI steel and hardened to Rockwell 60–61, delivering a sharp, clean cut and excellent edge retention while staying flexible enough to keep the cutting and counter blades aligned under load. Japanese 500 mm white oak handles help absorb vibration, while their length provides plenty of leverage for cutting woody growth without compromising balance or control during finer shaping work. Robust yet relatively lightweight, the simple construction makes the Okatsune 205 comfortable to use and easy to maintain, with blades that can be readily sharpened using an Okatsune whetstone.
