Recall Notice: Courant Spliced KALIMBA Climbing Rope

What has happened?

Courant has advised that all spliced KALIMBA ropes are subject to a safety recall. The issue relates to the splice, not the rope itself. Do not use Kalimba spliced ropes during the recall process.

Treetools is publishing this notice to help New Zealand customers identify affected products and complete the recall process as quickly as possible.

What should you do now?

1. Stop using the rope immediately. Remove any affected spliced KALIMBA rope from climbing, work positioning, training, rescue, or backup use.
2. Clearly mark or isolate the rope. Keep it separate from active climbing equipment so it cannot be used by mistake.
