SOLD BY THE METER Yale Bee Line 'Code' Blue represents the second generation of this popular friction cord, engineered to wick away the heat generated by friction from the knot. A long 'run' in a DbRT system generates kinetic energy, which converts into thermal energy or heat at the knot. You can melt/glaze your rope if you do not dissipate this heat. Yale Bee Line Blue 10mm has a Vectran core covered with an extra tough sleeve made of blended Technora (Aramid)/Polyester (75%/25%). The outer Technora/Polyester fibres in Yale Bee Line Blue allow high heat tolerance with minimal damage to the friction cord or the climbing line.
