High-tenacity polyester braid over a 12-plait UHMwPE core - 8mm diameter. Very lightweight (UHMwPE fibre has one of the highest strength-to-weight ratios available in any manufactured fibre), and it's easy to splice - absolutely no stretch. Superspeed meets ITCC climbing comp rules for prussic cords and is Certified to Australian Standard NS 4142.3 Also popular as an accessory cord or tool lanyard. Excellent handling and knot holding. Bright red with black fleck.
