If you are into double lanyards for ascending a stem, then the Gibbs Klimair swivelling rope grab might be for you. This device allows the climber to climb past obstructions (girders, tree limbs, etc. ) without removing the unit or utilizing a second rope grab. The Gibbs Klimair is mid-line attachable via a central bolt and can be paired with rope lanyards up to 1/2 inch in diameter. The bi-directional mechanical prusik has a swivelling stainless steel eye running in an aluminium shell. The Gibbs Klimair turns your double-snap lanyard into a two-in-one. Gibbs ascenders are known for their grip on any specified line whether it is muddy, wet or frozen, while not destroy your expensive ropes unless loaded over 900 kgs. Not suitable for wire-core work positioning lanyards.
