The Teufelberger pullDOWN is, as the name suggests, a replacement part for the retrieval ‘pulldown’ on the Teufelberger pulleySAVER and is part of the Multi Tool range. The pullDOWN features a 230mm e2e loop constructed of red 5mm cord, terminated to a gated Wichard shackle. The pullDOWN is attached to the pulleySAVER using a three-wrap English prusik. The stainless Wichard shackle allows midline attachment of the climbing line for convenient installation and retrieval. Wichard shackles are renowned for their secure ‘locking’, unlike cheaper alternatives that may look the same but do not function correctly, leaving a frustrated climber when the retrieval does not go as planned. Used in conjunction with the small DMM Retrieval Cone (yellow).
