20 m spliced hank in high visibility orange/yellow - excellent in half-light - now you can play late - as used in the CE Climb kit from the Treemagineers. Check out the weight stats - only 2.6 kg for a 30 meter length. Very popular with competition climbers. Tachyon has a tough UV and abrasion resistant sheath over the New England developed 'dual core' of nylon surrounding polyolefin inner core strands. This means better strand definition and a firm, round shape which improves friction hitch performance. Teufelberger Tachyon has virtually no sheath slippage - no 'bunching' or 'bagging' when using mechanical devices - unlike other 11 mm ropes. The 11.5 mm diameter and firm, round cross section improves grip and reduces hand fatigue without the weight or bulk of other 1/2 inch ropes.
