The Petzl Micro Traxion is the smallest of Petzl's capture device pulleys - 50% lighter than the Mini Traxion. This baby is a unique pulley/rope clamp with an integrated progress capture mechanism - as you lift a load the toothed cam clamps onto the rope to hold it in place. The spring loaded catch can be locked in an open position so the Micro Traxion can also be used as a simple pulley. It is ultra-lightweight and compact, ideal for work and rescue scenarios. The 25mm aluminum sheave is mounted on ultra smooth, self-lubricating bearings. The breaking strength when used as a pulley is 15 kN. The working load as a pulley is 5kN and in progress capture mode this is reduced to 2.5 kN. Certified to CE EN 567. Each unit is individually tested before it leaves the factory.
