70-meter pre-cut hank, 11.5 mm SquirV2 made by Courant, France. Courant designed SquirV2 specifically for SRT and ascent - Squir's low stretch (less than 2% elongation) ensures that the bounce effect is kept to a minimum when ascending, and the factory heat treatment protects the sheath from toothed cam ascenders, common in tree work. In addition, the 11.5mm diameter offers excellent grip and good knotability. We've added SquirV2 to our SRT climbing line catalogue at the request of climbers who experienced the use of this line in international tree climbing competitions. To comply with the strictly EN1891-A specifications, the Courant Squir V2 line cannot be stitched or spliced (knots only, I'm afraid).
