We've been asked a few times about sharpening Silky saws. Only the Sugoi, Masaru, Ibuki, Hayuachi and Hayate models are sharpenable. The teeth on these saws has a slight set and the tooth edge is designed specifically for sharpening. Treetools stock a special file for sharpening Silky saws.
