Can be opened and closed with one hand. Positive safety - cannot be opened while attached to a carabiner. Beer liberator also comes in handy. Most climbers complain about the size of the rescue knives available - not so with this one - the Piranha is a very SMALL knife, total length 84 mm, blade 28 mm (yes, that's millimeter) just big enough to save your life.
