Who is the target audience for the Treetools blog? This question was posed to us last week by a visiting international blog reader: did we blog for the world audience or was our primary focus New Zealand tree climbers?
We answered the latter of course!
But the question did get us thinking. Where did our readers come from?
After a bit of digging around in the analytic engine attached to the Treetools website we came up with the following datamap.
And, surprise surprise Treetools blog readers do indeed come from all over the world.
We've listed the top 10 countries in terms of unique visits and pageviews taken from the last six months of data in the graphic below but the total number of countries with Treetools blog readers is 165.
Yes, that's 165 countries interested in kiwi tree climbing! As a point of reference there are 196 countries in the world.
Let's hope the message is not lost in translation: New Zealand tree climbers are the best in the World - and the world should know it!
