By all accounts a prototype version of the 'new' Rope Wrench (manufactured by ISC Wales we believe) can be seen on the 'Tight Hitches', Bitches!' video posted last week.
Take another look at the video - you will have to look very carefully but you can definitely see the rounded edges on the side plates and the button head screws connecting the two side plates together.
The button heads would help reduce tether snagging as discussed previously - see still image below taken from the video. Treetools is not certain when the new model Rope Wrench will be available for sale so you'll just have to wait.
