NTCA Agathis Lanyards back in stock

NTCA Agathis Lanyards back in stock

Richard Tregoweth - Thursday, March 03, 2011

Agathis Lanyards are back in stock after a few weeks of shortage. Supply has resumed following the Christchurch earthquake (the lanyards are made in Christchurch by Aspiring Enterprises for the NTCA (Northland Tree Climbers Association)).

The sale of the lanyards generates income for the Agathis Fund - a support mechanism for the New Zealand tree climbing community administered by the NTCA.

The distinctive purple Agathis lanyards are very popular with climbers. They feature a 'bungee' inside the webbing to keep the lanyard short when not in use but will stretch to arms length when required. Attachment to your harness is by way of a carabiner though the stitched eye at the harness end of the lanyard.

Sporting a purple Agathis lanyard tells the world you have contributed to the fund - kiwi climbers looking out for each other!

Grey Agathis Fund tee shirts are also available from the NTCA - catch up with Joe Cooper at the 2011 Auckland Regional TCC at Western Park, Freemans Bay next weekend to secure yours.
