Mainstream media stuff.co.nz were quick on the uptake in reporting the kiwi success at the 2011 ITCC in Parramata, Sydney.
Stories like Chrissy and Scott's success at an international level and James Kilpatrick's world foot lock record in Singapore the previous month are good for the industry and the sport of tree climbing.
But there is also an unseen and perhaps longer term benefit - enthusing young people to make a career in arboriculture.
