Offered as a smaller alternative to a carabiner in specific applications, the NOTCH Quickie V3, designed by Kevin Bingham and configured correctly, can be used as a mid-line attachable base or canopy anchor. Precision cut from high-quality stainless steel, the NOTCH Quickie V3 is less likely to sideload, a problem often associated with a standard carabiner in some configurations. The quadruple action slic pin rotates, lowering friction when used to choke a rope. The Quickie also makes an ideal DMM Hitch Climber connector for the double-leg Rope Logic Rope Wrench Tether. NOTE: When using the Quickie in a cinched configuration, ensure the slic pin is facing away from the tree or girthed object. Carefully note (in the manual) the correct configuration when using the Quickie as a base or canopy anchor. The NOTCH Quickie V3 slic pin is incompatible with other Singing Tree devices.
