Pro Climb "Rigging with the Port-A-Wrap" Workshops

Pro Climb, New Zealand's leading tree rigging consultants, will conduct a series of rigging workshops around the North Island over the next few months. This follows the successful Rigging with the Port-A-Wrap Workshop conducted by Pro Climb and DB Tree held recently in Auckland.

The Port-A-Wrap is the most common friction device employed in tree rigging. It can be used in various configurations, making the arborist's job just that much easier.

The Rigging with the Port-A-Wrap Workshop covers:

• New ways to attach the Port-A-Wrap to the tree
• How to lift loads with the Port-A-Wrap
• How different ropes work in conjunction with the Port-A-Wrap
• How to reduce forces on the rigging anchor

Participants in the Pro Climb Rigging Workshop can expect to gain a better understanding of the the Port-A-Wraps potential (and limitations) in tree work. Download the flyer here for more information.
