Official Footlock World Record Attempt

An official open footlock world record attempt is planned to coincide with the Asia-Pacific Regional Tree Competition on Sunday 21 March, 2010, Western Park, Freeman's Bay, Auckland.

The world footlock record attempt was organized by the current women's footlock world record holder Nicky Ward-Allen. The event was one of the highlights of New Zealand's biggest tree climbing weekend - ever!

The Official Footlock World Record Attempt was adjudicated by ISA ITCC sanctioned official Tom Greenwood from Melbourne, Australia. Tom was also in attendance for the Auckland Regional TCC on Saturday 20 March and the Asia-Pacific Regional TCC on Sunday 21 March.

The NZAA/Stihl Auckland Regional Tree Climbing Competitions and the Asia-Pacific Regional Tree Climbing Competition are held over the same weekend (March 20-21, 2010) making this a major two days of tree climbing.
