Jerry Lynch is running an 'Brass Monkey' Arborcamp to promote Arbor Day at the Historic Mt Stuart reserve near Lawrence in Central Otago. The idea is to get a group of arborists together to do a few hours work to the trees on the reserve.
A 'Access to the Tree' workshop is planned for the afternoon. This will cover various methods of tree access including foot lock and SRT. A panel of experts will demonstrate new methods and answer any questions you may have. The workshop will be followed by a BBQ and a few beers.
Get along to this event if you can - camp the night and enjoy the company of fellow arborists, learn something new and do some nice tree work for a good cause.
Set aside the weekend of 5th and 6th June, 2010. Download the flyer here.
