Treetools can safely pick, pack and dispatch web and phone orders under the provisions of COVID-19 Alert Level 3, effective from Tuesday, 28 April 2020. The Trade Shop remains closed to all retail traffic until further notice. To alleviate embarrassment, please do not arrive on the site and ask us to open - the answer will be no.
Treetools admin staff will continue working from home. To minimise the unnecessary extension of existing family 'bubbles,' we'll be operating a split shift in the warehouse. Place your order early, and there is a higher chance we can get it dispatched the same day. We have good communication plans in place to handle the situation, but this is all new - glitches may occur, please bear with us.
Free shipping Auckland-wide
We cannot offer safe, contactless order 'pick-ups' at Kerwyn Ave but to compensate for the inconvenience, there is free shipping on all Auckland deliveries during Alert Level 3, excluding ladders and excessively heavy items. Pre-paid orders only, unless you have an existing Treetools credit account.
All orders placed during Alert Level 4 will be shipped first, but CourierPost is expecting heavy parcel volume during the first few days of Alert Level 3, so please be patient. Your order will arrive eventually.
Treetools hold sufficient stock levels of most items. Re-supply from our local and international distributors may be an issue moving forward. Again, please be patient, we'll do the best we can given the circumstances.
Moratorium on new Credit Account applications
We understand extended retail credit might be considered an option for businesses under financial pressure in this challenging environment. Please do not be offended but, Treetools will not open any new credit accounts for at least the following six months. We are not in a position to act as a bank during these trying times. Loyal, long term customers with up-to-date existing credit accounts are unaffected by the moratorium.
As is standard, customers without a Treetools credit account can pay for purchases by Credit Card (via the website or over the phone), Account-to-Account or direct credit. Orders ship on receipt of payment.
