Arborists have been astounded at the number of developments in tree climbing and rigging gear over the last few years - 2010 promises to be just as exciting.
Petzl have dominated in the helmet market for a number of years but 2010 is likely to see some stiff competition. Edlerid have announced the arrival of the new redesigned Edelrid Arborlight climbing helmet complete with Peltor Visor and Ear Muffs. Prices are yet to be confirmed but they are bound to be very competitive.Treetools will also have the new Stein Plasma arborist helmets with stylish visor and Peltor muffs. The Stein Plasma is made by Kask in Italy and were launched at the TCI Trade Show in Baltimore, November 2009. They will compete directly with the Petzl Vent.
Rumor has it there will be new produces from DMM in Wales and Teufelberger in Austria - designed by the Treemagineers - we'll keep you posted as we get more information.
