Razorback Pruner

  • Razorback Pruner

Same rugged construction as the Razorback Lopper - but with the smaller cut (50 mm). The names come from the loppers heritage: Tom Stone was the forestry contractor who helped with the initial designs and Haumi Traders were the original distributors. The high tensile steel handles are galvanized for extra protection and the head bolts are the strongest on the market (Forged 2140 steel). The blade is heat treated high carbon alloy steel with unmatched strength and hardness for superior edge holding. (Look for the number on the blade to show audit hardness testing). The anvil is heat treated semi annealed high strength and wear resistant steel. The blade and anvil can be finely adjusted by the pitch bolt and lock nut (no tab washer required). Probably the best forestry lopper on the market. Some contractors prefer to use these and make greater use of a saw. Will last your lifetime and the next. Parts available.
