SOLD BY THE METER Teufelberger manufactures Ocean Polyester according to the specifications provided by Treemagineers. This rope is specifically designed to meet the high demands of friction cords when used in DbRT or SRT climbing configurations combined with a pulley, friction saver, or pulley saver at the anchor point. It is composed of a polyester/aramid sheath over a polyester core, which makes it highly resistant to abrasion, provides a strong grip, and exhibits superior heat resistance (240°C). The second generation of Ocean Polyester is softer, which facilitates the use of demanding knot applications as specified by the Treemagineers. This friction cord is certified to EN 564.
