SOLD BY THE METER Donaghys Armor-Prus is a well-known and trusted product in the arborist community for its ability to withstand the heat generated during fast descents. This is due to its unique cover blend of Technora (Aramide) and polyester, which is wrapped around a lightweight Spectra 900 core. The Spectra core also features a twin Kevlar strand safety feature, which prevents the core from being completely cut or melted in the unlikely event of cover failure. Technora has a higher melt-point than standard polyester, with a rating of 234°C. This product is approved for use in the International Tree Climbing Competitions (ITCC).
