Simple, strong and light with long, hook ears to prevent the rope from sliding up and locking off. Dual tie-in holes keep the Climbing Technology Otto Rescue 8 attached to the harness while the rope is tied to the carabiner, reducing the possibility of dropping it from the tree. The CT Otto is a multipurpose tool - useful as a rigging plate, and the centre hole can also be used as a belay plate to lower light branches. Large size soaks up rope friction heat.
