The Rock Exotica Pirate in black - primarily designed as a belay carabiner, hence the side-loaded rating of 12kN, but is also a popular carabiner with arborists.

The light weight and high-strength performance of the Rock Exotica Pirate along with a smooth acting auto-lock make this an essential carabiner for your tree climbing kit.

Patented key-lock nose, so no more rope snag. Rock Exotica's carabiners have the highest inward gate/sleeve strength (7kN on the Pirate) to reduce risk of a tree branch levering against the sleeve and breaking it open.

Weighs in at only 87 g. Designed and manufactured in the USA. All Rock Exotica carabiners are individually tested to half their rated strength.
